Floriani Family Session

It was such a treat to photograph this family when Will and I went to Memphis for a wedding recently.  These girls kept us laughing during their shoot, as well as their dad’s modeling skills! :)  I am breaking the session into two posts because I have so many favorites!  We miss you friends, thanks for letting me capture a part of this time in your life!

I have a love for little kid eyelashes… if you don’t want a few shots of your kid’s eyelashes you should probably look for another photographer!

They make me melt!

Baby Wesley 6 months

This is such a cute, fun family, and Wesley cracked me up all session long with his tongue!  He is just at that stage where he is sticking it out a lot, so I made sure to include a picture of that in this post!  I also stuck in a pet portrait, a little random, but I love it!

I don’t think we could have planned this next one… the dog just walked into the picture and sat down right there!  So funny!

This next one was for the grandparents; Wesley was pretty tired by this point, and I have yawned every time I look at it!

Why are yawns so contagious… apparently I don’t even have to be with the person yawning?!  At least he looks really cute when he is yawning!

Baby Virginia 8 months

This session with Virginia was so fun!  I love getting to take that extra creative step, and was so excited that her mom wanted to as well!  It was a little more work to get that chair out into the field but so worth it!  I love the different spots and the different outfits!

Kimmy and D Wedding part 2

Kimmy and D Wedding Part 1

I don’t have a lot to say about Kimmy and D’s wedding day… fun pretty much sums it up!  Kimmy and D were so sweet and the bridal party was a blast to hang out with!  I am always honored when a couple chooses me to shoot their wedding, and you were no exception!  Thank you and I hope you love your pictures!!!  I had to break the day into two posts because there are so many images I love!

Bethany and Anna

I am way behind on my blog posts from this summer (baby #3 has slowed me down a little!), so I am going to be posting pictures from several sessions in the next few days!  This is a session I had the privilege of shooting our last week in Colorado.  We spent the month there with Bethany and Anna (sisters) and they were so fun to photograph!  They did a great job cracking each other up and getting natural smiles which made my job easy!   Thanks Bethany and Anna!  We miss you guys!

More Gracie, Charlie, and Sam: Yay!

Still catching up from sessions I did before we left for Frontier!  I love photographing this family!  These kiddos are so cute and funny, and Stephanie always dresses them in such fun outfits!  Here’s evidence that you don’t have to be afraid of a little pattern (or a lot) in your pictures!  Enjoy!

Mike and Tracy: Wedding

Sorry for the long break for those of you who have been checking the blog regularly!  Our family was in Colorado for three and a half weeks at Young Life’s Frontier Ranch!  We had a blast, but we were glad to come home when it was time!  I am playing catch up now, so there are several blog posts in the works!

On May 15 I got to be a part of a really sweet backyard wedding.  The whole day was really laid back and fun for everyone, and the backyard setting made it feel so intimate.  The ceremony was under an apple tree, and thankfully the rain held off until the reception was well under way!  The downpour didn’t stop anyone from having a great time!  Thanks Mike and Tracy for letting me be part of your special wedding!  I wish you both the best!

Baker Family Session

Early May was a good time for me… Will and I took a trip to the beach, and on the way we stopped to visit our friends the Bakers.  We got to hang out and take pictures, so like I said, a good time for me, although a little bit bittersweet since we realized anew how much we still miss seeing the Bakers on a daily basis during our former lives in Memphis! :) We had never even met Witt who was almost seventeen months old at the time of our visit, and hadn’t seen Avery in too long.  She still looks like Avery, just a lot older.  She was so fun; I always love taking pictures of girls, probably since I don’t have one, and she really really loved the pink parasol!   Bakers, it was so good to see you, we still miss you!  I hope you love your pictures!
